Staff Announcement
Hey College Heights Family,
What an honor it is to be part of the family of God! It is a joy to see how the Lord equips all of us to be ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I Peter 2:5 says that God's followers are "like living stones, being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." While all of us as believers are part of this holy "priesthood", there are times when God asks some of His followers to step into a specific role on a church staff. It is a specialized season of service. Seasons change, but the call to minister and share the Good News of Jesus does not change for any of us, whether or not we are on the staff that serves and equips our church family.
The season of being on staff at College Heights has changed for Aaron Wheeler. As you will see in his letter below, he will begin teaching full-time at Ozark Christian College this fall. This new season is a blessing for him, his family, and the students he teaches. Aaron is a gifted preacher and teacher, and we are grateful for his four years of service on staff at CH as Relational Discipleship Minister. While his final day on staff will be June 27, I am thankful that Aaron and Danielle's investment in Kingdom work in our community and around the world will continue. And, I'm grateful they and their kids plan to continue to worship and serve alongside the family at College Heights.
Please be in prayer with us as we seek to continually follow the Lord's leading for adult discipleship at College Heights.
I encourage you to reach out to Aaron and offer your congratulations and your thanks for his years of service to our adult small groups, Sunday School classes, CH Academy, and our preaching team.
Thank you, Aaron! We celebrate with you and thank you for your years of service and leadership.

Dear College Heights Christian Church -
It is with mixed emotions, of both excitement and sadness, that I am writing to you to announce my resignation as the Relational Discipleship Minister at College Heights. I will begin a position as a full-time faculty member at Ozark Christian College this fall.
We know that God loves College Heights, even more than we do, and will continue to use this body for his purposes in bringing people into union, love, and faithfulness in Him.
It has been an honor and privilege to serve you in supporting our discipleship communities. These times have been a tremendous blessing to me both personally and professionally.
We are grateful to be able to stay in the Joplin community, and look forward to seeing you on Sundays as we have no plans to change our church home.
This is a special place to serve, and I am grateful for all of the encouragement and support that I have received from this body over the last four years. Your faithfulness in committing to Christ, his word, and his Kingdom is a legacy to me and my family.
